If You and Your Spouse Both Work for the Company
If you both work for the company, you each need to complete the enrollment process. Each can elect their own coverage, or one can cover the other as a dependent. However, you cannot be covered as both an employee and a dependent under the plan.
For example, if you are married with no children, each of you can choose Employee Only coverage. Or, one of you can elect Employee Plus Spouse and the other can waive coverage. If you have dependent children, each child can be covered under only one parent’s plan.
